When asked about who helped make it, Mist2’9 said, “Millz, myself plus B3 we met online initially but we became close associates.” About what shaped the song, Mist2’9 said, “Millz made the beat, I did the mixing and mastering of the release and rapped the first verse. I also got B3 as feature which he killed by the way.” When asked about the story behind the song, Mist2’9 just said, “No, we just wanted to make good music.”

When asked what makes the song unique, Mist2’9 said, “It is a standout release. I think all my tracks so far have the potential to be a hit but this one is catchy. All three tracks from ‘The Reclaim’ have over a million streams.” The song was recorded in places, mostly in Los Angeles plus Bakersfield.
Mist2’9 stressed how sound and tempo must stay consistent, saying, “One thing that means a lot to me is we didn’t lose sound quality or tempo each aspect of the song compliments each other. Especially since the song was produced and written in different locations.”
Mist2’9 talked about what was unique about recording, “Millz produced the track. I did the mixing and mastering. As stated sound quality is very important and we recorded in different locations so coming up with a project with such good sound is innovative and dope to me.”
