Doja Cat Brings Tour Ma Vie to 31 North American Arenas With Latto

“Cards” opens the show. “Jealous Type” closes it. In between, Doja Cat runs through close to 30 songs from across her catalogue, and from Thursday that set comes home. Tour Ma Vie reaches North America on 1 October at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, the first of 31 arena dates that end at Madison Square Garden in New York on 1 December, with Latto as special guest.

The leg was announced in July, when The Source published the full run, and it follows shows across Asia, Latin America, Europe, the UK, Australia and New Zealand. Live Nation promotes the tour. For Doja Cat it is the last leg announced so far. For Latto it is the first time on the road since 2024.

The Set Built Around Vie

Tour Ma Vie exists to carry Vie, Doja Cat’s fifth studio album, released on 26 September 2025. Consequence counted 15 tracks, nine of them produced by Jack Antonoff, and heard a record steeped in the 1980s: sleazy synths, the glossy pulse of R&B from that decade and a streak of glam rock. The lead single, “Jealous Type”, leans on a New Jack Swing bounce. “Cards”, the album’s opener, sits on an electro-funk beat. “AAAHH MEN!” flips the Knight Rider theme.

The live set does not stay inside that one record. An average Tour Ma Vie setlist published by Ticketmaster runs to 27 songs. It opens with “Cards” and “Kiss Me More”, moves through “Woman”, “Agora Hills” and “Paint the Town Red”, finds room for “Juicy”, “Need to Know”, “Streets” and “Demons”, and closes on “Say So” and “Jealous Type”. There is also a cover of the Spencer Davis Group’s “I’m a Man”.

That mix matters for anyone deciding whether to go. It is a greatest-hits show wrapped around a new album, not a front-to-back performance of Vie. The bars of “Tia Tamera” and “Demons” sit next to the pop of “Say So”, and the harder verses carry as much weight as the singles.

What the London Show Looked Like

The best guide to the production is the European leg. Reviewing the O2 Arena show in London on 29 May for Clash, Nicola Davies described an entrance in which Doja Cat rose from the floor and hung suspended far above the stage in a long white outfit with oversized, wing-like shoulders, singing a mash-up of “La Vie en Rose” and “Lipstain”.

The pace after that was relentless. By Clash’s account, the white layer came off in the only break longer than 90 seconds of a one-hour-45-minute set. The band and backing singers played and danced in sparkling outfits. A Union Jack-themed costume followed. At one point Doja lay flat on the stage and hung the microphone from her heel while still singing. Pyrotechnics finished the job, including a wall of fire.

Davies singled out the heavier songs, “Tia Tamera” and “Demons”, for the way Doja pairs the writing with a harder delivery on stage, and noted that hits missing from her last London visit, “Juicy” and “Kiss Me More”, were back in the set. Her verdict on the staging is the line North American fans will recognise on 31 October: at times, she wrote, “the show felt like a circus that wouldn’t go amiss in Las Vegas.” The Las Vegas date lands on Halloween, at T-Mobile Arena.

How Vie Translates to an Arena

Vie was made with range in mind, and that is what carries it into big rooms. Consequence heard an album that works as “an experiment in blending eras and styles”, and noted that after a cycle focused on hip-hop, Doja moved back towards pop without abandoning “the grit she picked up along the way”. Its verdict was that she “finally seems less concerned with choosing between her creative instincts and more comfortable letting them co-exist”.

On stage that shows up as a set with several gears. The synth-pop of “Cards”, the New Jack Swing bounce of “Jealous Type” and the harder bars of “Demons” all sit in the same show, and the rap-first songs are not treated as a side act. Clash’s reviewer made a related point from the seats: Davies wrote that Doja takes genres and inspirations and makes them entirely her own while still paying homage to the original, which is one way to read the Spencer Davis Group cover in the middle of the night.

The same review described the performance as a feat of stamina, with Doja moving, if not dancing, for the whole show, in heels, and almost no breaks. For fans who caught the Scarlet Tour, the difference is balance. Scarlet stuck closely to its theme; on Clash’s reading, Tour Ma Vie gives the room more of the hits while keeping the new record at the centre.

Latto’s Role on the Run

Latto joins as special guest for every North American date. Pollstar notes that it is her first tour since she wrapped the Sugar Honey Iced Tea Tour in 2024, and that her fourth studio album, Big Mama, arrived in May with a Doja Cat collaboration, “Okayyy”, on the tracklist.

That link is the obvious question for the run. A support act with a shared song on the headliner’s radar gives both artists a moment to build towards, but neither the tour announcement nor the published setlist says whether “Okayyy” will be performed together. Latto arrives with a Grammy nomination behind her, per The Source, and her own catalogue to promote, which makes this more than a warm-up slot.

The Full North American Dates

The Source published all 31 shows:

  • October: Detroit, Little Caesars Arena (1); Chicago, United Center (3); Minneapolis, Target Center (4); Kansas City, T-Mobile Center (6); Denver, Ball Arena (8); Salt Lake City, Maverik Center (10); Vancouver, Rogers Arena (13); Seattle, Climate Pledge Arena (15); Portland, Moda Center (17); San Francisco, Chase Center (19); Sacramento, Golden 1 Center (20); Los Angeles, Kia Forum (22); San Diego, Viejas Arena (27); Phoenix, Mortgage Matchup Center (29); Las Vegas, T-Mobile Arena (31)
  • November: Austin, Moody Center (3); Dallas, American Airlines Center (4); San Antonio, Frost Bank Center (6); Houston, Toyota Center (7); Miami, Kaseya Center (11); Tampa, Benchmark International Arena (13); Orlando, Kia Center (14); Atlanta, State Farm Arena (17); Charlotte, Spectrum Center (18); Baltimore, CFG Bank Arena (20); Washington, Capital One Arena (21); Boston, TD Garden (23); Toronto, Scotiabank Arena (25); Montreal, Bell Centre (27); Philadelphia, Xfinity Mobile Arena (29)
  • December: New York, Madison Square Garden (1)

October carries 15 of the 31 shows, working down the West Coast after the Midwest opening. The Texas swing packs four dates into five nights from 3 to 7 November, and the final seven shows, from Baltimore through Toronto and Montreal to New York, fall inside 12 days. VIP packages include pre-show access to a Club Vie VIP lounge and exclusive merchandise, according to The Source.

The Numbers From the Road So Far

The earlier legs give a sense of demand. According to Pollstar Boxoffice reports, the global run has produced numerous sold-out dates, including 15 February at the Movistar Arena in Bogota, which grossed $438,484 on the night. The London show reviewed by Clash came almost exactly two years after Doja played the same arena on the Scarlet Tour, and Davies wrote that the new show felt fresher, with a setlist less tied to its theme.

Those details point to how the North American leg is built: big rooms, three or four nights a week, and, on Clash’s evidence, a show that works as well for someone who knows three songs as for a fan who knows thirty. Davies went as far as saying that someone who had never heard of Doja could enjoy it as much as any fan.

What to Watch From Detroit

Three things will shape Tour Ma Vie in North America. The first is the set: whether the 27-song shape from Europe holds, or whether songs rotate as the run settles in. The second is the Halloween show in Las Vegas, a date that invites the costume changes the production already relies on. The third is the finish. The last seven shows run through the Northeast and eastern Canada to New York, where a Madison Square Garden closer on 1 December gives the album cycle a natural full stop.

Elsewhere on RapStar.News, Drake is releasing his new era one YouTube video at a time. Doja Cat’s approach is the opposite: one long run, one set, and 31 nights to prove the Vie songs hold up next to the hits.
