If you’re looking for some new music to listen to and enjoy, then you’ve come to the right place. I recently put together a collection of new tracks from certain artists, and I want you to check it out!
Hip-hop culture is one of the most popular genres of music in the world. It has been around for decades and has many different subgenres, including pop-rap. Pop rap is a type of hip-hop that incorporates elements of pop music, such as catchy melodies and dance beats.
Pop rap is popular because it’s easy to listen to and it appeals to a wide range of people, from teenagers to adults. It’s also very accessible; you don’t need any specialized equipment or knowledge to listen to it. In fact, some people don’t even consider it “real” music—it’s just entertainment—but that doesn’t mean it isn’t worth your time!
J Cru releasing Man Cake
In a song that is upbeat and catchy, the song celebrates the beauty and confidence of a male body, focusing specifically on the posterior area of the body. As well as a pseudo parody of the body image lyricism we see in pop culture today, this is also an affirmation of body positivity.
If you’re looking for some new pop-rap releases to add to your playlist or if you want some fresh new tunes for your next party, check out this week’s best new tracks:

1) DANNY B THE AIRHEAD – Genius
Danny B The Airhead is a rapper and producer from Essex, United Kingdom. He released a single, Genius, in March of 2023 and it has been getting rave reviews!
Afropop, UK Rap, and Dancehall elements combine in his new song “Genius.”. It is a mix of UK Rap, Afropop, and Dancehall. A 26-year-old recording artist and producer. Almost all of the music that he performs is written, produced, and performed by him.
As far as the beat is concerned he took inspiration from NSG’s “Options”, which was produced by Jae5 and as for the vocals he took inspiration from dancehall artists such as Beenie Man and Shaggy.
The song is an afrobeat dancehall hip-hop track with a catchy beat and super catchy vocals. There’s also some autotune on the vocals, which gives it more of an RnB feel than most hip-hop tracks out there.

2) LUKX – Everyday
I am a huge fan of contemporary soul music, especially if it is Hip-Hop and I was thrilled to discover the artist LUKX. Their single Everyday is super catchy and has a great beat that you can’t help but move to.
It’s also super edgy and funky, making it a great song to listen to while driving or when you’re just hanging out with friends.
A father and son production team has created a project called Lukx as the result of their combined efforts, with creative releases like ‘Everyday’ straight from their small home studio in Belgium. Every month, on the first Friday of the month, they release a new song.
The best thing about LUKX is that they’re based in Belgium, so their music is a little different from what we usually hear in America. They have a sound that combines commercial pop with contemporary soul and hip-hop—which gives them an edge over other artists who might fall into one category or another.

3) SAINT PIERRE – Stay Active
Saint Pierre, a Virginia Beach-based artist, released his new single, “Stay Active”, on 24/02 on all streaming platforms. During the production of the new single, Saint collaborated with Billboards’ charting producer Sonni.
It’s super catchy, super edgy and super hip-hop. The beat is so good that you’ll be able to hear it in your head for days after listening. Saint Pierre’s flow is great too—he raps like he’s got a lot of energy, but he doesn’t sound forced or overdone.
The song has a US-based culture vibe that makes it feel like it’s coming straight out of Virginia Beach itself. It’s got this really cool beat that makes it impossible not to move along with while you listen—it’s perfect for working out!

4) TRE K – Kiss Me More
If you’re a fan of hip-hop and drill, then you should definitely check out the new single from Newark-based rapper TRE K. It’s called “Kiss Me More” and it’s got everything we love about US rap: a catchy hook, an infectious beat, and some real solid bars.
You might think that sounds like every other song out there these days, but in this case, it’s true. TRE K takes the typical tropes of drill—or gangsta rap—and turns them into something totally new. There’s mumble rap here which makes it even more modern.
It’s got a lot of power—the vocals are strong and clear, and the instrumentals are well-balanced between the beat. The track also has a great tempo that keeps things moving along nicely throughout the whole song.
We describe his music as “just good vibes.” And who doesn’t need more good vibes these days? You can check out some of his songs on Spotify or visit his website.
5) ZO-ALONZO – I Think I LoveR
The music of ZO-ALONZO is a blend of hip-hop, love songs, and other genres. The single I Think I LoveR is super catchy and super edgy. It’s also relaxing and beats-driven.
As a love song, “I Think I LoveR” reflects the anxious feelings you have when you want to be with someone who isn’t fully aware of the depth of your love and longing for them.
There is something poetic about this song, influenced by the cadences of Eminem and the literature of Shakespeare and Prince. There is a certain amount of build-up in the music that matches the emotion and trajectory of the song. As a result of the string arrangements, it has a dreamlike feel to it.
A track with this level of clarity and crispness is not overproduced or polished to the point where it becomes dull. Having instrumental breakdowns to break up the songs at the appropriate time adds a great deal of variety to the songs without feeling forced or extraneous.

6) LEIF RIGGS – Phantom (Produced By InsaneBeatz)
Leif Riggs‘ single “Phantom” is a modern, US-based hip-hop anthem. The song is produced by InsaneBeatz and features the rapper’s signature vocals and flow.
Leif presented a rhythmic, percussion-driven, animated delivery of lyrics in this project, which was combined with a traditional, well-crafted instrumental that provided an enjoyable listen. It is a topic similar to that of many other battle rap tracks, but the concepts for the lines are of high quality.
A track with this level of clarity and crispness is not overproduced or polished to the point where it becomes dull. Having instrumental breakdowns to break up the songs at the appropriate time adds a great deal of variety to the songs without feeling forced or extraneous.
It’s got a lot of power—the vocals are strong and clear, and the instrumentals are well-balanced between the beats and the heavy piano notes on it. The track also has a great tempo that keeps things moving along nicely throughout the whole song.

J CRU is an independent artist from Los Angeles. He has released his new single, Man Cake, featuring Fresh Micks.
In a song that is upbeat and catchy, the song celebrates the beauty and confidence of a male body, focusing specifically on the posterior area of the body. As well as a pseudo parody of the body image lyricism we see in pop culture today, this is also an affirmation of body positivity.
J Cru believes “it’s time men appreciate their assets. All of them. Including their rear assets. Did you get a fat ass? I got man cake.”
